A multi-agent coordination model for the variation of underlying network topology

چکیده
In now multi-agent systems, the underlying networks are always dynamic and the network topologies are always changed in the operation. Therefore, the coordination of agents shall be adjusted for the dynamic network topology. Aiming at the dynamics of underlying network topology, a novel adaptive multi-agents coordination model is explored in this paper. In the paper, a series of algorithms for multi-agent task and resource negotiation are provided. The provided algorithms consider the factors of network topology and agent distribution, and can implement effective task allocation and resource negotiation for current network topology. Therefore, the adaptation of agent coordination for dynamic underlying network topology can be achieved, which is also proved by the case studies and performance analyses in the paper. q 2005 Elsevier Ltd. Adaptive Neural Network Method for Consensus Tracking of High-Order Mimo Nonlinear Multi-Agent Systems
This paper is concerned with the consensus tracking problem of high order MIMO nonlinear multi-agent systems. The agents must follow a leader node in presence of unknown dynamics and uncertain external disturbances. The communication network topology of agents is assumed to be a fixed undirected graph. A distributed adaptive control method is proposed to solve the consensus problem utilizing re...
متن کاملOptimal Coordination of Distance and Directional Overcurrent Relays Considering Different Network Topologies
Most studies in relay coordination have focused solely on coordination of overcurrent relays while distance relays are used as the main protection of transmission lines. Since, simultaneous coordination of these two types of relays can provide a better protection, in this paper, a new approach is proposed for simultaneous coordination of distance and directional overcurrent relays (D&DOCRs). Al...
متن کاملFault Detection and Isolation of Multi-Agent Systems via Complex Laplacian
This paper studies the problem of fault detection and isolation (FDI) for multi-agent systems (MAS) via complex Laplacian subject to actuator faults. A planar formation of point agents in the plane using simple and linear interaction rules related to complex Laplacian is achieved. The communication network is a directed, and yet connected graph with a fixed topology. The loss of symmetry in the...
متن کاملInteraction and Topology in Distributed Multi - Agent Coordination
Interconnected systems have become the recent focus of intense investigation, particularly in the context of autonomous coordination, yielding fundamental advantages in adaptability, scalability, and efficiency compared to single-agent solutions. In this thesis, we investigate the topological assumptions that underly distributed multi-agent coordination, i.e., those properties defining interact...
متن کاملMulti-agent Systems on the Internet: Extending the Scope of Coordination towards Security and Topology
The Internet is rapidly becoming the privileged environment for today’s Multi-Agent Systems. This introduces new issues in MAS’ design and development, from both a conceptual and a technological viewpoint. In particular, the dichotomy between the openness of the execution environment and the need for secure execution models makes governing agents’ interaction a really complex matter, especially...
